Sahara announces ‘India Center’ at U.K. and ‘Sahara Think Tank’ for Business opportunities at UK during the closed door meeting with Mr. David Cameron, Prime Minister of U.K.


The final highlights of the initiatives which were suggested by Saharasri in June 2012 during his one-on-one meeting with Mr. David Cameron at London, were presented by Sahara India Pariwar


Mumbai, 19 February 2013: ‘Saharasri’ Subrata Roy Sahara, Managing Worker & Chairman, Sahara India Pariwar, presented the final highlights of 2 initiatives, ‘Sahara Think Tank’ and ‘India Center’, to the Prime Minister of U.K., Mr. David Cameron, in a close-door round table conference in Mumbai. The close-door round table conference was attended by heads of 9 major corporate houses of India. The initiatives were earlier discussed on 24th June, 2012 in one-on-one meeting of ‘Saharasri’ and Mr. David Cameron at 10 Downing Street, London and were appreciated by the Prime Minister and had promised support to the initiatives.

The ‘Sahara Think Tank’ initiative is planed to provide a platform through a well structured team of young professionals from U.K., to tap the unique business opportunities. The initiative will be executed under the guardianship of Lord Patel of Bradford, OBE and other eminent people from British society. The meeting in Mumbai was the first edition of ‘Sahara Think Tank’ initiatives.

Sahara India Pariwar has also announced the setting-up of an iconic ‘India Center’ in a joint venture partnership with the University of East London. The ‘India Center’ planned on a 4 acre will be a unique facility housing student facilities with world class teachings and learning experience, to come-up at the University of East London Dockland Campus. Mr. David Cameron appreciated the fact that this would be the only kind of its endeavour in the world between a corporate and a university. The university has already acquired the require 4 acre land for the Centre.
